In 2016, seeds were sown that grew into what is now Walden's Ridge Park. A coalition of organizations and community leaders, all dedicated to conservation of the state's natural resources, combined their efforts to turn 200 acres on Walden's Ridge into a vibrant multi-use park to benefit the public. More than 10 miles of trails are available, and they've already been acclaimed as some of the better ones in the country for mountain biking. Other activities on the trails include running, hiking, and bouldering. With a wide range of terrains and difficulty ratings, there are trails to accommodate any level of experience. Leashed dogs are allowed with the exception of downhill-specific mountain bike trails.
